Fortnite closes Chapter 2 with big event on December 4

A page turns before a new era begins.

On Saturday December 4 at 10 p.m., Fortnite players around the world are invited to participate in the ultimate battle of Chapter 2.

“The Queen Cube is preparing her final assault on the island.

After that, nothing will ever be the same again.

Take up arms and face the ultimate destroyer of all realities, ”warns Epic Games in its press release released on Wednesday.

The event, soberly titled "The End", should conclude a season rich in collaborations with notably Dune, Naruto or Balenciaga, indicates

Teams of 16 players

“The End”, notes Epic Games, will be able to accommodate “large teams of up to 16 players”.

The publisher advises gamers to log in early enough to be sure they can participate.

Before this grand finale, Fortnite will offer a special weekend from November 27 at 1 a.m. to November 29 at 1 p.m. to earn EXP and complete your progress in season 8 which closes this chapter 2.

Be careful, however, warns the company: "Content creators and players who wish to relive the last moments of Chapter 2 of Fortnite must make sure to record and archive their experience, because reruns will not be available."

Once this event is closed, a new chapter must open on Fortnite at the beginning of December.
