According to Roscosmos specialists, a fragment of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle, approaching the ISS, at 07:18 Moscow time passed the ISS at a distance of over 5 km, ”the state corporation's Telegram channel says.

Roscosmos noted that this did not interfere with the station's flight - Russian cosmonauts, together with the Mission Control Center, continue to prepare for undocking the ISS and the Progress MS-17 cargo vehicle.

The Progress M-UM spacecraft and the Prichal nodal module separated on November 24 from the third stage of the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle.

The main task force took control of the spacecraft and headed for the ISS.
