Protest against a CNews program

At the same time, anti-fascist groups in Lyon called on social networks for mobilization against the arrival of Jordan Bardella. This "little misery market", in the words of a resident interviewed by CNews, is located near the center of Lyon and the luxury shops installed in the old historic building of the Hôtel-Dieu.

The president of the RN had announced on his Twitter account his trip to the neighborhood where, according to him, "our fellow citizens are abandoned and delivered to violence".

"Racists are not welcome in our neighborhood," replied the "Antifa Group of Lyon" on its Twitter account.

Elected officials deplore "disturbances to public order"

"Stop stigmatization and instrumentalisation: La Guillotière is a part of our city with a very rich neighborhood life, where there are also many positive things happening and to which the inhabitants are very attached, to the image of their mobilization this (Wednesday) morning ", say in a press release the ecological mayor of Lyon Grégory Doucet, and the mayors of the 7th and 3rd arrondissements, Fanny Dubot and Véronique Dubois-Bertrand.
