Controversy arises when a desiccant appears in the bread of a famous bakery in a department store in Korea.

Through the cream in the bread, you can see the dark, round grains with the packaging material written in English.

A woman in her 40s living in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, bought bread from a bakery in a department store and shared it with her daughter, and found desiccant pellets that appear to have burst from plastic packaging.

It is said that he was more surprised to find that his 33-month-old daughter had already eaten about two-thirds of the food. The next day, Mr. A complained to the department store and the food and beverage manager apologized.

However, the baker who called afterward claimed that he had made a proposal to the effect of 'tell how much you want first' without a proper apology.

A department store official said, 'It seems that a desiccant was used in the process of kneading and baking the bread.'

However, Mr. A pointed out that there is no sincerity in the apology, saying, 'Department stores and bakeries offered 500,000 won as compensation, and if you decline it, insurance will be processed and the amount may be reduced.

Mr. A reported the bakery to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and Hwaseong City National Newspaper.
