This new feature has many advantages in connected housing.
The device can turn off the light when there are no people in the room.
It is also possible to program routines.
Once a person is detected at a given time, a playlist or radio can start.
An optional feature
This new feature can be turned on or off as needed using the Alexa app.
Deployment is in progress, so the update may not work on all devices.
This function was already available on the Echo Show speaker.
But it was not ultrasound.
The device detected the presence of individuals using its camera.
