Amid the nationwide shortage of urea water, a warm donation was received saying that a citizen who had a statue of Buddha left urea water in front of the entrance to a 119 safety center in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

According to the fire department, yesterday (7th) around 1:40 pm, a citizen got into a vehicle and stopped in front of the entrance to the Junggok 119 Safety Center of the Gwangjin Fire Station and left five boxes of urea water (50 liters) and disappeared.

A fire department official found the number of elements when returning from work 20 minutes after the citizen left.

In the box left by the citizens, the phrase "I hope the fire department will be of help" was written on it, adding warmth to it.

The fire department searched closed circuit (CC) TV to find traces of the citizens who donated, but it is said that they were unable to specify the license plate, etc., due to poor image quality.

A firefighter official said, "(The number of elements received) will be given priority to the ambulance and dispatch vehicles of each center of the Gwangjin Fire Station."

Recently, donations from citizens, fearing that a shortage of urea water might cause disruption to the operation of firefighting vehicles, are continuing across the country.

Citizens donated urea water to several 119 safety centers in Incheon and Jeonju on the 5th, and on the 6th and 7th, citizens came to Chuncheon in Gangwon, Gimhae in Gyeongnam, and Gwangyang and Suncheon in Jeollanam-do to donate urea water. Cases followed.
