Seoul Central District Court will proceed with the substantive examination of arrest warrants for Attorney Nam-wook and Jeong Min-yong at 3 and 4 pm, starting with Kim Man-bae at 10:30 am today.

Kim Man-bae is the second and the rest of the people are at the crossroads of detention for the first time.

They are accused of colluding with Yoo Dong-gyu, former head of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, to have the Hana Bank Consortium, which Hwacheon Daewoo belongs to, be selected as a private business operator in Daejang-dong.

The main charges against them are allegations of breach of trust, claiming that they inflicted at least 65.1 billion won in damages to Seongnam Urban Development Corporation by taking huge development profits.

They are also accused of bribing former general manager Yoo Dong-gyu of 800 million won and promising to pay 70 billion won.

Whether or not they are detained is expected to affect the direction of future investigations.

In particular, attention is focused on how the court will judge the allegations of breach of trust that they caused damage to the Seongnam Urban Development Corporation.

This is because the theory of responsibility that is being raised against Candidate Jae-myung Lee, who approved the Daejang-dong development project as Seongnam Mayor at the time, is linked to their alleged breach of trust.

In response to criticisms from some that the prosecution is investigating candidate Lee Jae-myung, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office said that it will conduct an investigation fairly in accordance with laws and principles, leaving room for the investigation of candidate Lee.
