Yesterday around midnight, Gwanak-gu, Seoul. A silver BMW car overtakes a fast-moving vehicle.

It hits the wall next to the road and bounces off,

[reporter/at the time of reporting: they say they are moving between lanes, I think you should come quickly.]

Again, it rubs against the fence of the roadside construction site.

[Reporter/At the time of report: I just reported suspicion of drinking, but I am going towards the entrance of Seoul National University and I keep… .]

After a while, the dispatched police catch up.

The vehicle, which ignored the request to stop and fled, drove more than 3 km to a stop here, a residential area, and the driver was arrested by the police.

He was a 32-year-old man, and his blood alcohol level was 0.12%, well above the license revocation criterion.

A drunk vehicle collided with two police cars while avoiding a chase, and two police officers are receiving treatment for back injuries.

The front bumper of a vehicle that was chased through the night is cracked and broken.

It seems that the impact was so great that the license plate fell off.

A bigger accident could have been prevented thanks to the citizens who actively followed the vehicle and reported it.

[Reporter: I think it was a drunk vehicle, but I was slightly more concerned that this vehicle would cause secondary damage (reported.)] The

police are planning to apply for an arrest warrant for the driver who is being investigated in the detention center.
