The police decided to apply for an arrest warrant for a man in his 20s who struck and killed a pedestrian while driving drunk in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul last night (27th).

The Seoul Geumcheon Police Station is investigating a 29-year-old man A on charges of dangerous driving under the Special Act.

At about 10:40 last night, while driving in the direction of Malmi Intersection in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, Mr. A ran into a 19-year-old woman, B, who was walking straight to the sidewalk.

I was driving on a three-lane road and headed for the sidewalk at a narrower two-lane section.

B was taken to the hospital, but died about an hour later.

When the fire department and the police were dispatched, Mr. A's vehicle collided with a sign and stopped, and the sign was also halfway over.

As a result of the breathalyzer test, Mr. A's blood alcohol level was 0.103%, which exceeded the license revocation level (0.08%).

Person A, who was arrested as the current offender, was in a state of intoxication to the point of not being able to proceed with the investigation, so he was sent to a detention facility.
