The music streaming service, launched in 2015, was integrated directly into the console's operating system.

The official Apple application allows you to enjoy all music, as well as clips in 4K.

Competitor of Spotify

Gamers will be able to launch songs or playlists without leaving their game. Apple Music will be, like Spotify, accessible from the “Music” tab of the PlayStation control center.

The application can be downloaded from this tab or from the “Multimedia” category of the PS5.

Spotify was so far the only streaming service to be associated with Sony and to be present on its consoles.

For six years, the Swedish music giant had been present on every console and allowed players to enjoy its catalog during their games.

The two music streaming giants will now be neck and neck.
