A man in his 60s was arrested in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, after he damaged an electronic location tracking device (electronic anklet) and fled.



The Gyeongnam Police Agency caught Kim (62), who recently broke the electronic anklet and fled from the intercity bus terminal in Hamyang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do at 1:37 pm on the 28th.



Kim boarded the Mugunghwa at Beolgyo in Jeollanam-do yesterday and got off at Banseong Station in Jinju.




After staying at an inn in Hamyang, he was arrested at the scene by a detective who was hiding while moving to the intercity bus terminal.



Kim moved from Goryeong, North Gyeongsangbuk-do to Suncheon, Jeollanam-do between 10 and 11 pm on the 25th by car.



He was ordered to restrict going out at night, but he moved to Suncheon by car and disappeared after damaging the electronic anklet at 2:55 am that day.



After confirming this fact, the Ministry of Justice made a request for cooperation and the police are currently pursuing it.



In addition, the Changwon Probation Office of the Ministry of Justice publicly wanted Kim and released the photo.



Kim is known to be guilty of 35 crimes, including violating the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth.
