While vegetable prices are fluctuating due to a sudden cold wave, lettuce prices have skyrocketed, and some fast food restaurants have patty-only hamburgers.

An online community user posted a photo of a hamburger currently on sale, saying, "I heard that the lettuce was gone, but I'm embarrassed to face the 'bulgogi macaron'."

Only the patties are placed between the buns, which means that the shape is like a macaron.

Consumers continue to complain, "I knew I ate it, but it was a bit like bread and meat," and "I couldn't import potatoes, so I fell out, now lettuce is gone, when will I be able to eat the whole burger set?"

In addition to hamburger companies, other franchises that use lettuce as an ingredient are in a similar situation. Yesterday (26th) at the Garak Wholesale Market in Seoul, the average wholesale price per 1 kg of lettuce was 3,000 won, which more than doubled from the 12th.

Netizens responded, "It looks like a really thin macaron. Please double the amount of lettuce when you cook it~" and "Why do you want to eat like this when you have nothing to do well!"
