A man who was being investigated by the police for sexual assault five years ago but suddenly disappeared just before arrest was caught by the police after being pursued.

The Seoul Songpa Police Station arrested and detained a 57-year-old man, Yoon Mo, who was accused of sexual assault in a location in Gyeonggi Province last week.

Yoon disappeared in November 2016 after being investigated for raping a part-time student at his store.

Although he strongly denied the charges, the police who found evidence were just about to arrest Yoon.

It was investigated that Yoon ran away by staying in a jjimjilbang for a while without using any card or cell phone in his name.

However, the pursuit and burrowing after the faint trail did not stop.

As a result, Yoon was arrested by the police on the 21st and was arrested after 5 years.

SBS met the head of the investigation team in charge of the Songpa Police Station, who had been tracking Yoon for a long time.
