The number of new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Korea as of 9 p.m. yesterday (26th) was 1,855, and as of 00:00 today, the number of confirmed cases is expected to be around 2,000.

670 more than the same time the day before, and 350 more than a week ago.

This is the first confirmed case in two weeks since the 13th.

It is believed that this is because tensions over quarantine have eased ahead of the gradual recovery of daily life, which will begin next week.

The quarantine authorities previously announced that they are maintaining a sufficient medical response system, saying that the number of confirmed cases may increase as the country goes back to a gradual recovery of daily life through the eased distancing measures that started on the 18th.
