Mr. A was handed over to trial on the charges of driving an SUV while intoxicated on a road in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon at around 10:44 am on April 3, crashing a 39-year-old Mr. B's vehicle from behind and running away.



Mr. A denied the allegation of running away after the accident by making a false statement to the police officer, saying, "I was too nervous to drink after the accident."



At that time, Mr. A's blood alcohol level was 0.143%, which was the level of license revocation.



On the other hand, it was revealed that Mr. A has already been punished three times for drunk driving, including a summary order of 4 million won in fines for drunk driving in 2016.



Judge Yoon said, "The defendant had a traffic accident while driving under the influence of alcohol, and the crime was poor." .
