prosecution, which is investigating the suspicion of the development of Daejang-dong, has handed over the former head of the department, Yoo Dong-gyu, to trial on charges of bribery. The allegations of breach of trust listed in the arrest warrant have been dropped. In the midst of this, yesterday (21st), the prosecution conducted a search and seizure of the mayor's office and the secretary's office in Seongnam City Hall amid the controversy surrounding the North.

Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office arrested and indicted former general manager Yoo Dong-gyu and charged 70.3 billion won in bribes.

Former general manager Yoo was accused of receiving 350 million won for business convenience from a private developer in Daejang-dong in 2013, and between 2014 and 2015, Hwacheon Daeyu agreed to receive 70 billion won in return for providing convenience related to the Daejang-dong project. The promised charges were applied.

Earlier, when the arrest warrant was requested, there was also an allegation of receiving a bribe of 500 million won from the owner of Hwacheon Daewoo Kim Man-bae, but this was excluded.

Prosecutors have also investigated allegations of breach of trust, which caused damage to Seongnam City by allowing private businesses to make huge profits against Yoo, in particular, but did not apply the charge of breach of trust to the contents of this indictment.

It is known that the specific amount of breach of trust has not been specified, and it is known that they are in a position to review whether the charge of breach of trust is applied after securing additional evidence.

In the case of breach of trust, it is one of the most important investigation points as it is considered as a link to the investigation of higher-level officers.

Prosecutors also conducted cross-examination against the so-called Dae Jang-dong suspects, including former General Manager Yoo, Man-bae Kim, and accountant Jeong Young-hak and lawyer Nam Wook.

In the midst of this, the prosecution raided the mayor's office of Seongnam City Hall yesterday.

There have been criticisms that 'Lee Jae-myung's eyes are on the lookout' for being excluded from the search and seizure, but there are still voices of criticism as to whether there will be any relevant evidence remaining in the search and seizure of the back north.
