The Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that at around 2 pm on the 18th, at a company office in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, two male and female employees drank bottled water and collapsed and started an investigation.
According to the police, they drank bottled water lying on an office desk and fell unconscious after saying "the water tastes strange".
It is known that the male employee is still in the intensive care unit because he has not regained consciousness.
The fire department said that the female and male staff collapsed complaining of shortness of breath after about an hour's time difference, and were already unconscious when they arrived at the scene.
A police official said, "It is believed that the incident was not caused by political affairs, but the details of the incident are currently under investigation."
The police sent the bottle of water they drank to the National Forensic Service to ask for a drug test, while conducting investigations against employees of the same company.
