The Coast Guard is searching for the missing person after a report was received that a Chinese ship was capsized and sunk off the coast of Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do.
According to the Gunsan Maritime Police Station, the 239-ton Chinese ship A capsized at about 0:05 today (20th) in the waters 124 km southwest of Eocheong-do, Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do.
After receiving the report of the sinking, the Coast Guard rescued 8 of the 15 crew members and is looking for 7 missing at sea.
