Prosecutors investigating the Daejang-dong development lobby and preferential treatment case have secured an old cell phone from Yoo Dong-gyu, former head of the planning division of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office's dedicated investigation team obtained information that Mr. A, an acquaintance of former general manager Yoo, had his old cell phone, and seized and searched the residence of Mr.
The mobile phone that the prosecution found today is separate from the one that former general Yoo threw out of the window during the prosecution's search and seizure on the 29th of last month.
The cell phone he threw away was secured by the police on the 7th and is currently under forensics.
Prosecutors believe that important data related to the Daejang-dong development project and conversation records exchanged with Mr.
Prosecutors will immediately go through cell phone forensics and start analyzing internal data.
