The prosecution, which is investigating the case of Daejang-dong development lobby and preferential treatment, is raiding Seongnam City Hall this morning (15th).
The Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office's dedicated investigation team sent prosecutors to Seongnam City Hall around 9:00 am today to collect related data from departments related to the Daejang-dong development project, such as the Urban Housing Bureau, the Education, Culture and Sports Bureau, and the Culture City Project Group.
Seongnam City is the place that has the license for the Daejang-dong development project.
In January 2015, Mayor Lee Jae-myung directly approved and signed the 'Report on Investment Approval Review for Corporations Following the Promotion of the Daejang-dong Development Project' prepared by the Seongnam City Administrative Planning Bureau.
Because of this, there have been constant suspicions that this branch may have been involved in the Daejang-dong development project in some way.
Prosecutors will also call an employee of the Administrative Planning Bureau, who was involved in the preparation of the document at the time, as a reference person for investigation.
