Currently, there are 12 advisors in Seongnam City, providing 4-5 cases of legal advice per month and receiving an allowance of 300,000 won.



A city official said, "The separate contract with President Kim was a lawsuit related to the construction of the central public market in December last year, and 13.08 million won was paid as a down payment. in charge," he said.



Seongnam City is currently under investigation by the police in relation to the Daejang-dong development lobby and suspicion of preferential treatment.



The Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency's dedicated investigation team is taking over the relevant data from the department in charge of Daejang-dong, such as the Urban Balanced Development Division of Seongnam-si, and is looking into the licensing process for the Daejang-dong development project.



When the controversy broke out, President Kim said through the Supreme Prosecutor's Office, "The fact that I was appointed as an advisor to Seongnam City, where I had been living for more than 10 years as a local volunteer from December 1, 2020 to May 7, 2021, after finishing my public office as a lawyer at a law firm. "It has nothing to do with the Daejang-dong incident," he added, adding, "I have already directed the chief of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office to conduct a quick and thorough investigation, regardless of the status of the ruling party."



Prosecutors are sending prosecutors to Seongnam City Hall this morning to seize and search materials related to the Daejang-dong development project.
