A 20-year-old who was being investigated by the police for driving under the influence of a license without a license was revealed to be wanted for assault, and the police are chasing after him.
Ansan Sangnok Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced today that they are looking for the whereabouts of A (26), who ran away from the prosecution at around 6:10 pm on the 14th.
At about 3:50 pm yesterday, Mr. A was investigated by the police on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
In the process, the police confirmed that Mr. A was wanted by the prosecution on charges of assault in 2017 and notified the prosecution.
Two members of the convoy team from the Ansan branch of the Suwon District Prosecutor's Office visited the police station and took over Mr. A.
However, in the process, Mr. A pushed the other convoy member and escaped while one convoy team member went to return Mr. A's police station pass.
A was found to have fled in the car of an acquaintance who was at the police station, and then moved to a taxi from the area in Geongeon-dong, Sangnok-gu, Ansan-si.
The police are looking for Mr. A's whereabouts through CCTV (closed circuit) TV images around Mr. A's taxi stop.
