Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office Chief Prosecutor Lee Jung-soo said today (14th) regarding the investigation into the Daejang-dong development lobby and preferential treatment, "the will of the investigation team is firm."

"I know there are many voices who are concerned about the will of the investigation team to investigate," Lee said at the National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee's audit today.

Prosecutor Lee said, "We are also looking at all kinds of breaches and business entities." He said, "Many of the transcripts (accountant Jeong Young-hak) have been mentioned in the media, but there are parts that need to be checked to see if the facts are being reported based on the transcripts."

Regarding the summons plan of Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung, he replied, "It is difficult to tell about the investigation plan or schedule at this stage."

When asked whether it was necessary to reveal whether the Seongnam Urban Development Corporation reported the deletion of the excess profit recovery clause to the governor Lee, who was the mayor of Seongnam, or whether there was an instruction or acquiescence from the mayor, he said, "All matters are in the scope of investigation."

When asked whether a search and seizure should be carried out in Seongnam City, he answered, "I know there are many criticisms in the media, but it is difficult to say in detail."

Regarding the fact that the police found a cell phone that was thrown out of the window at the time of the prosecution's seizure and search by Yoo Dong-gyu, former head of the Seongnam Urban Development Corporation's planning division (arrested), he said, "I'm really sorry.I will not make any excuses for such negligence.”

When asked if part of the investigation should be disclosed for the sake of the people's right to know, Prosecutor Lee said, "There seems to be a lot of public outrage and many questions, but if we strengthen public relations activities, there is a risk that the investigation security will be exposed." Please wait," he said.

When asked about the possibility of disclosure of the facts of the suspect, leakage of investigation data, and leakage of investigation status during the investigation of this case, he answered, "I think absolutely not."

4th Deputy Prosecutor Kim Tae-hoon, who leads the 20-person investigation team, said, "I am carrying out the investigation with a serious responsibility.

Regarding the transcripts reported through the media, he said, "I know that there is no connection with the investigation team or directly with the prosecution's investigation."
