Vodafone will be affected by a malfunction for the second time this week on Thursday, which means that some of the customers cannot make calls.

Since Thursday evening, customers can use their mobile data again, a spokesperson for the telecom company said.

The malfunction was confirmed by the provider on the Vodafone forum on Thursday afternoon.

"There is currently a malfunction. As a result, you may experience problems with calling, texting and using data via 4G and 5G."

A Vodafone spokesperson said at 3:55 p.m. that the connection will gradually return.

"Mobile traffic is being diverted."

The exact origin of the malfunction is under investigation.

It is also unclear whether the problems are related to the malfunction at Vodafone earlier this week.

It lasted for several hours.

On Thursday, the malfunction site Allestoringen.nl received thousands of reports from people who said they were experiencing the problems, which arose around 2.30 pm.
