A university student in his 20s in Chungju, North Chungcheong Province, died 19 days after receiving the second dose of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine, the health authorities launched an investigation.



According to today (14th), Chungbuk Province and the bereaved family, Mr. A (24) was found dead in a studio in Chungju on the afternoon of the 10th.



After receiving a report from Mr. A's family saying, "I can't reach my daughter," the police arrived and found Mr. A lying in the room.



At the time of discovery, the police said that it was estimated that Mr. A had been dead for about a day, and that there was no evidence of suicide, such as suicide or intrusion.



It is also known that the cause of death was unknown in the first autopsy at the National Forensic Service.



The bereaved family argued that the side effects of the vaccine were suspected because A was healthy without any underlying disease.



Mr. A received the second dose with Pfizer vaccine on September 20, 19 days before his death, through a reservation for the remaining vaccine.



It is known that Mr. A, who was about to graduate from art college, was preparing his graduation work.



The bereaved family said, "Since a normally healthy child left for heaven at a flowery age, all I can think of is a side effect of the vaccine.



The quarantine authorities are confirming a causal relationship with the vaccine.



An official from North Chungcheong Province said, "We are planning to send related data to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after receiving reports of abnormal reactions.
