Elementary school students and teachers were grouped into bee stings while doing outdoor activities.

According to the Gyeongbuk Fire Department and others, today (13th) around 10:11 am, 45 elementary school students and 4 teachers were stung by bumblebees on the mountain trail behind the Gunwi County Community Center in Gunwi-eup, Gunwi-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

A student and a teacher stung by a bee were shared in an ambulance and transported to three nearby hospitals for treatment.

Some visited the hospital individually by car.

The fire department said there were no serious injuries in the accident.

At the time of the bee sting accident, about 90 students and teachers in grades 5 and 6 of elementary school were in the middle of an athletic meet and walk with the priest.

Firefighters identified the hive at the site and removed it.

A firefighter official said, "Bumblebees are bees that build and inhabit the ground. Although they are smaller than general wasps, they are more aggressive."
