Several people were struck Tuesday morning by a train in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, reports France Bleu Pays Basque.

Three people have died and one injured is in serious condition.

A TER struck several people on the axis connecting Hendaye to Bordeaux.

Tuesday morning, a little before 6 a.m., the train passes the station of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, when it collides with several people lying on the tracks, reports France Bleu Pays basque.

Three people have died and one is seriously injured, in critical condition.

They could be migrants.

Two individuals have been identified: they are likely to be two men of Algerian nationality.

Traffic resumed shortly after 8 am, with the departure of the emergency services.
