Kim Tae-hyun, who murdered three mothers and daughters in an apartment in Nowon-gu, Seoul, was sentenced to life in prison in the first trial.

The Seoul Northern District Court today (12th) sentenced Kim to life in prison for five counts, including murder, theft, and trespassing.

Kim was indicted on charges of stalking her eldest daughter, whom she met in an online game, for refusing to contact her.

The court pointed out that Mr. Kim had committed a cruel crime that could not be recovered, and explained that severe punishment was necessary.

In addition, when looking at the before and after the crime, the intent of the murder was clear, and it was determined that the eldest daughter, victim A, as well as the younger sister and mother, committed the crime with a plan to kill in advance.
