Kim Man-bae, a major shareholder of Hwacheon Daeyu, a key figure in the suspicion surrounding the Daejang-dong development project, appeared at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office at 9:48 am today (11th).

As Kim came out to be investigated as a suspect, he said, "I am very sorry for causing a commotion," and "I will faithfully cooperate with the investigation."

Kim also dismissed the controversy that a third party was involved in the controversy over the owner of Cheonhwa-dongin No. 1, saying that he is the true owner.

As for the reason for these suspicions, he argued that "it was because of a recording intentionally edited by a specific person in the process of conflict over the distribution of profits."

Kim added that as there has been no illegal money transaction, the suspicion will be resolved if the prosecution examines the deposit and withdrawal records.

He explained that Kim's legal advisory group was his own right of defense against the point that it was a 'luxurious legal advisory group'.

Regarding the allegations that he exerted influence through former Supreme Court Justice Kwon Soon-il on the Supreme Court ruling by Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung, he denied, saying, "The Korean judiciary is not a place where luxuries can make assumptions and weave thoughts."

The investigation team in charge of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office is planning to check all suspicions against Kim.
