Citizens who went out for a holiday, take off their outerwear and try to cover the hot sun with a parasol and a fan.

Today, the temperature in Daegu rose to 31.8 degrees, which is more than 7 degrees higher than normal.

Busan's beaches, which closed early, are again a midsummer scene.

Take a surfboard and soak yourself in the waves to escape the heat.

[Jeon Ha-eung / Buk-gu, Busan: I think it was autumn weather wearing a coat when I think about it last October, but this year, it seems that summer is not over.]

Today, the temperature in Daegu rose to 31.8 degrees, 114 since 1907, when the meteorological observation began. The highest temperature in October in years.

Gyeongnam provinces, such as Gimhae 31.4 degrees and Changwon 30 degrees, also ranked first, and Gwangju also climbed to 30.7 degrees, making it the second hottest ever.

These anomalies are associated with higher-than-normal sea surface temperatures in the equatorial western Pacific.

As the equatorial sea heats up, the updraft increases as water boils to generate water vapor.

Along the direction of rotation of this high pressure, the south wind blows hot like summer in Korea, and the temperature rises significantly.

However, as it rains all over the country until tomorrow, the temperature drops and the autumn vibes that have been pushed back for a while are back.

Tomorrow, the nation's highest daytime temperature is expected to be 20 degrees in Seoul and 18 degrees in Daejeon.
