An engineer who informed his family about the victim of dating violence through an announcement while operating the subway was excluded from work.

According to the Seoul Transportation Corporation on the 5th, engineer A, who broadcast a broadcast that his family died of dating violence while operating the Seoul Subway Line 4, was excluded from work the very next day.

On the 16th of last month, Mr. A said to passengers through a subway announcement, "My family died of dating violence a while ago, and I filed a national petition, so please pay attention."

Mr. A also appealed, "I am sorry that such announcements would be inconvenient, but there is no other way to inform them, so please understand."

The content of the announcement soon spread through social media and online communities, expressing regret.

Accordingly, it is known that the Seoul Transportation Corporation excluded Mr. A from his driving duties because he broadcasted his private story.

Currently, Mr. A is receiving job-related training in-house.

The construction company explained, "The audit office will investigate, but it is not for the purpose of giving disciplinary action to (Mr. A)."

In addition, he said that he is considering a plan to revise the company rules so that private information will not be dealt with in the future announcements.

Driver A is known as the family of the victim of the so-called 'Mapo-gu dating violence' incident.

The victim died on August 17th after falling into a coma after being assaulted by a boyfriend at an officetel in Mapo-gu, Seoul in July.
