A report came in that a real estate developer was acting absurdly against the sales agencies. At a cafe in Hanam, he ordered coffee delivery to Goyang or touted a gift set worth 200 million won, but reporter Choi Seon-gil covered what was going on.

<Reporter> A model

house at a knowledge industry center in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The van stops in front of the building and the driver carries a box of coffee to the office.

It seems like an ordinary delivery, but the coffee started at a cafe in Hanam, about 40km away from the model house.

[Driver: (Where's the coffee just coming from?) It's in Deokpung-dong, Hanam. (Why are you coming here?) I don't know whether it was ordered here or sent there, so bring it to me anyway.]

I went to a cafe in Hanam City.

[Cafe employee: (We deliver coffee here every morning….) Yes, we

are

going to a model house.]

Sales agencies are running such long-distance coffee shuttles, but the cafe in Hanam was run by the daughter of a real estate developer.

Sales agencies have absolutely no choice but to depend on the developer in charge of the development of the knowledge industry center, and 5 sales agencies say they were forced to place an order for long-distance coffee.

[Real sales agent: I have to set up a coffee watch and pay 300,000 won to 600,000 won once or twice a week.]

Ahead of the Chuseok last year, it is said that the developer was instructed to purchase 200 gift sets worth 200,000 won from the cafe, 200 each for each sales agency.

I was also asked to purchase meal tickets for about 100 people every day at a restaurant at a construction site, and this restaurant was also run by a relative of the owner of the developer.

[Real sale agency official: This is the best if there is no damage.

I have no choice but to wait patiently even if everything is dirty.] The

developer said that the coffee delivery and meal ticket purchases were agreed with the agencies, and that there seems to have been a misunderstanding with the on-site staff, and said that the allegation of abuse was not true.
