The New York Times and Washington Post reported that 1 million people watched the UN Sustainable Development Goals high-level meeting live, and more than 980,000 people visited the UN official YouTube account alone.



The New York Times reported that even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Afghanistan crisis, and climate change crisis, attention was paid to the 'boy band' BTS, which is not the top of each country.



BTS, who attended the UN General Assembly as President Moon Jae-in's special envoy, promoted the COVID-19 vaccine in a 7-minute speech and delivered a message of consolation and praise to the younger generation who overcame the pandemic.



UN Vice-Secretary-General Amina Mohamed also posted a Korean message saying "Thank you" along with videos and photos of BTS's event on his Twitter.



President Moon Jae-in and BTS also appear on ABC, one of the three largest terrestrial broadcasters in the United States.



The recorded interview will be aired throughout the United States through 'Good Morning America' in the morning of the 24th, 'Good Morning America 3' in the afternoon of the same day, and 'Nightline' in the morning of the 25th.
