Another blue-ringed octopus, known to be ten times more toxic than cyanide, was discovered in Jeju.

According to the Jeju Coast Guard, a blue-ringed octopus was discovered by a tourist at around 5:55 pm on the 20th in the sea in front of Geumneung Beach in Hallim-eup, Jeju City.

When a tourist found a strange octopus on the beach while walking, he caught the octopus with a tool and put it in a plastic container and reported it to the Jeju Coast Guard.

After the Coast Guard confirmed the octopus, it was believed to be a blue-ringed octopus, so it was buried in the ground and disposed of itself.

The Jeju Coast Guard said, "Blue-ringed octopus or blue-ringed octopus is more than 10 times more toxic than cyanide."

Blue-ringed octopus was also found by fishermen on May 10th at the breakwater in Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, with a body length of about 6 cm.
