Rapper Jang Yong-joon (21, stage name Noel), the son of National Power lawmaker Jang Je-won, has been charged with driving without a license, refusing to take a breathalyzer, and assaulting a police officer.

Yonhap News reported that Jang had an accident with another car while driving a Mercedes-Benz in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul at around 10:30 pm on the 18th.

A police officer who was dispatched tried to take a breathalyzer test, but Jang did not respond and it is known that he hit the officer's head.

Police arrested Jang at the scene and returned him home after investigation.

It is known that there were no injuries in the car accident that Jang caused because it was a light contact accident.

Jang was sent to Busan on charges of assaulting a passerby in April, and was sentenced to probation in the first trial last year on charges of drunk driving and changing drivers.
