Today (18th), the first day of the Chuseok holiday, some errors occurred in the computerized system used in hospitals and clinics, causing inconvenience to patients at one time to see treatment.

There have been several cases where the 'inquiry check service', which can check whether a patient who visited a hospital or pharmacy this morning is eligible for health insurance, did not work properly.

The National Health Insurance Corporation explained that the inquiry service was not smooth from around 10 am due to some problems in the server authentication process of the billing program used by each hospital and clinic.

At 11:45, the error was resolved and the service is now operating normally.

The Corporation is also providing a search function for examinees to check in real-time at each medical institution through the 'Healing Institution Information Center' service, and it was found that this service worked without any problems.
