Today (18th), the first day of the Chuseok holiday, three family members were found dead in a house in Jangseong, Jeollanam-do.

According to the Jangseong Police Station, at around 10:26 am today, a 74-year-old woman A, her son, 55-year-old B, and B's wife were found dead in a detached house in Jangseong-gun by another family and reported to the police.

Mother A was found dead in the bedroom, daughter-in-law in the back seat of a car parked in front of the house, and son B in another space inside the house.

None of the dead showed any signs of trauma, and no weapons or toxic substances were found in the house.

At the scene, a suicide note presumed to have been written by Mr. B was found.

B and B are living in Daejeon, and it was investigated that their mother arrived at Jangseong where she lives alone around 4:40 a.m. today.

Another family later found their home in another area and found the three dead inside and outside the house.

Based on the fact that there were no signs of intrusion and a suicide note was found, the police believe that it is highly likely that the incident occurred due to a family problem.

The police are investigating the cell phone records of nearby people and the deceased, and they plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of death.
