There was an error in the health insurance computerized system at one point in the morning, causing confusion at the front-line hospital site.



From around 10 am today (18th), the 'examiner inquiry service', which checks a patient's health insurance eligibility, did not work properly, causing inconvenience to patients visiting hospitals and pharmacies.



The Health Insurance Corporation said that there was a problem with the server authentication procedure of the program used by medical institutions, and that it was normalized around 11:45.
