Our reporters have been here since this morning and have been monitoring the typhoon situation.



It rained and stopped until morning, but now it continues to rain and suddenly a strong wind blows.



The typhoon is passing closest to Yeosu, Jeollanam-do at 12 o'clock at this time.



That's why I can feel the rain and wind are getting stronger and stronger.



In Jeollanam-do, typhoon warnings are being maintained for coastal areas such as Yeosu, Gwangyang, and Suncheon.



As Typhoon Chantu is accompanied by rain and strong winds, there will be places where it will rain 10 to 60mm or more in the Jeonnam area.



In particular, high winds of up to 30 m/s and 108 km/h were recorded at Gannyeoam in Yeosu today.



89 passenger ships on 54 routes to and from the Jeollanam-do island were also suspended.



In addition, 27,000 fishing boats were anchored to avoid the typhoon.



About 3,000 cage farms in Jeollanam-do are also well prepared for damage.
