today (17th) to next Thursday, some quarantine guidelines will be different only during the Chuseok holiday. Family gatherings of up to 8 people can be held even in the 4th level area, but there are a few things to keep in mind.

Reporter Kim Deok-hyun will explain the details.

<Reporter> The

number to remember until the 23rd, the day after the Chuseok holiday, is '4+4'.

If you include 4 people who have completed the vaccination, you can gather up to 8 people.

It does not matter if only 8 people who have completed the inoculation gather, but if there are more than 4 people who have not been vaccinated or who have been vaccinated for the first time, it is a violation of the quarantine rules.

In areas with the 4th level of distancing, including the metropolitan area, the group is limited to family members including daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and relatives.

Gatherings of 7 or 8 people should not be mixed with non-family members, such as hometown friends.

The place is only possible inside the house.

Up to 4 people are allowed to go out to the cemetery, and when going out to eat, up to 6 people, including the inoculator, are allowed.

A maximum of 8 people can gather at any location or time in the 3rd level area, excluding the metropolitan area.

It should be noted that when counting the number of Chuseok gatherings, infants and toddlers are also included, regardless of the level of social distancing.

When a large number of people gather indoors like this, the quarantine authorities recommended to ventilate once every 30 minutes to reduce the risk of infection.

Vaccinations during the Chuseok holiday are available from the day after tomorrow to the 22nd at 14 vaccination centers across the country, and most hospitals and clinics are closed.

Corona diagnostic tests are available at 368 screening clinics and 141 temporary screening centers nationwide throughout the holidays, including Chuseok.

507 emergency rooms nationwide are also open 24 hours during the five days of holidays.

Information on which hospitals and pharmacies are open during the Chuseok holiday can be found at the Ministry of Health and Welfare Call Center 129, 119, or 120.
