<Anchor> The fact

that a 40-something wearing an electronic anklet stole someone else's money and then left for a foreign country through Incheon International Airport was revealed late. He told me that he had to go on a business trip for work, so he had to release the electronic anklet at the probation office.

Reporter Cho Hye-won of TJB reported exclusively.

the 3rd, 46-year-old A, who threatened an acquaintance in Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, and took away 50 million won, left through Incheon International Airport immediately after the crime.

It was a robbery right before departure, and Mr. A was subject to probation wearing an electronic anklet for a sexual assault crime.

It turned out that a probation officer at Incheon Airport released Mr. A's electronic anklet, and he left for Dubai right away.

The Ministry of Justice prohibits overseas travel of wearers of electronic anklets.

However, Mr. A requested departure permission from the Cheonan Probation Office in advance for business trips, and it was accepted.

Mr. A worked for a mask and medical device exporter, and the company representative confirmed the business trip to Dubai and guaranteed Mr. A's identity.

This is the reason why the probation officer released the electronic anklet without knowing that Mr. A was robbed right before departure.

[Cheonan Probation Office official: This case is quite common. In fact, the recidivism rate is very high. We cannot control these people by blocking their normal economic activities. I was given permission to leave the country normally.]

At the time of the departure permit, Mr. A was scheduled to return to Korea today (17th), but Mr. A did not board the plane.

The police and probation officers plan to request Interpol to be wanted, while invalidating the passport and repatriating it to Korea.
