Yesterday (15th) dawn, a report came in in Seoul that a man assaulted a woman, and the police launched an investigation. The assault continued inside the car, and as a result of confirmation, the perpetrator was a current police officer.

Yesterday at around 0:40 in the morning, a report was received that a woman seemed to have been hit by someone on a road in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.



A man grabbed the woman's hair and assaulted her several times, such as hitting the dashboard inside the car.



The vehicle driven by Inspector A came to a complete stop in such a rare place, and it is said that Inspector A assaulted the victim several times in the car.

Inspector A A woman looked at a picture of another woman on her cell phone and asked who it was.



It is known that the victim woman told the police that she had a "lover relationship with Inspector A", but Inspector A stated that she was "acquainted with the victim."



When the police arrived, Inspector A refused to accompany him voluntarily, saying, "I will be investigated later."



The victim said that she did not want to be punished, but the police plan to conduct an investigation to determine if there have been other cases of assault.



The Seoul Seongbuk Police Station, to which Inspector A belongs, is reviewing measures such as issuing a standby order for Inspector A.
