The police launched an investigation after allegations were raised that Chairman Kim of Geumyoung Entertainment, a karaoke device company, stole billions of won from the company.

According to the SBS End Panda Team coverage, after Chairman Kim took over the company in February 2016, Geum-young paid billions of won in technology royalties to companies established by current and former employees to use their own technology.

However, it was found that the money was withdrawn from the corporate account of the company to the personal account of Chairman Kim or another company in which Chairman Kim is the CEO.

There was also an internal testimony that Chairman Kim paid a special bonus to an employee and then collected the money and took it back.

The reporters asked for Chairman Kim's position on these allegations, but the connection was not made, and the company later informed that 'an interview was not possible'.

More details on 'Chairman Kim's suspicious transaction' surrounding Keumyoung, a karaoke device company, will be delivered today (15th) in <SBS 8 News>.
