Former short track coach Cho Jae-beom, who was charged with sexually assaulting his student Shim Suk-hee for three years, was sentenced to 13 years in prison at the appeals court.
He was sentenced to a heavier sentence than the first trial, which was sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in prison.
At the appeals trial, the prosecution sought a 20-year prison sentence.
