The first trial of the administrative lawsuit over the suspension of duties that former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol received from the Ministry of Justice while he was in office will be held today (10th).

The 4th Administrative Division of the Seoul Administrative Court (Chief Judge Han Won-gyo) will hold the first pleading for the cancellation of the suspension of the execution of duties filed by former President Yoon against the Minister of Justice at 11 a.m. today.

It has been about 10 months since the Ministry of Justice suspended Yoon's duties in November last year.

Previously, the Ministry of Justice suspended Yoon's office in November last year, and in December of the same year, he was suspended for two months.

Among the allegations of former President Yoon initially raised by the Ministry of Justice at the time of his expulsion from office, those that were recognized as grounds for disciplinary action were: ▲ Writing and distributing documents related to the investigation of major courts in major cases ▲ Interfering with inspections related to the Channel A case ▲ Interfering with the investigation related to the Channel A case ▲ Undermining political neutrality 4 Eggplant.

Former President Yoon received the court's decision to suspend execution (suspension of effect) for both the exclusion of duties and the disposition of suspension, and the effect is temporarily suspended until the judgment of the first instance is pronounced.

Unlike the suspension of execution, which is a temporary measure to prevent irreparable harm to the parties, the results of the lawsuit may differ because it specifically determines whether the disposition of exclusion from duty was justified.

Former President Yoon's side argues that the reasons for disciplinary action set forth by the Ministry of Justice are all false or justified, and that there is no problem, and the disciplinary action and suspension of duties should be cancelled.

In addition to the exclusion of duties, former President Yoon filed a lawsuit for cancellation of disciplinary action and held two pleadings, and the final pleading is expected on the 16th.
