According to the Corona 19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team (Promotion Team), a total of 5,797,000 doses of Moderna vaccine and 3,954,500 doses of Pfizer vaccine will arrive at Incheon International Airport over two days from today.



First of all, 1393,000 doses of Moderna vaccine contracted directly by the Korean government will arrive at Incheon International Airport by KE8286 flight around 10:35 pm today.



Moderna previously announced that it would supply less than half of the 8.5 million servings in August due to problems with its manufacturing facilities.



Of these, 6759,000 servings have been supplied as of yesterday.



If you include today's arrivals, it means 8,152,000 servings, which is more than the original promise.



A day later, around 11:15 a.m. tomorrow, 3,428,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine will be carried on flight KE8518.



This vaccine is part of a direct contract volume of 66 million doses.



Separately, 526,500 doses of Pfizer vaccine and 450,000 doses of Moderna vaccine, which the government secured in cooperation with Romania, will also arrive at Incheon International Airport by DB2007 flight around 3 pm tomorrow.



Prior to this, 526,500 doses of Pfizer vaccine arrived from Romania on the 2nd.



This will complete the introduction of 1.53 thousand doses obtained through vaccine cooperation with Romania.



The promotion team said that, including tomorrow's arrival, the cumulative amount of vaccines introduced in Korea is 63.34 million doses.



At a regular briefing today, Park Hyang, head of the quarantine division at the Central Accident Response Headquarters, said, "Considering the amount of vaccines secured so far and the planned supply of vaccines, it is more than predicted to achieve the 70% target of the first vaccination before the Chuseok holiday.
