The court accepted a part of an injunction requesting that the Facebook post of the late Park Won-soon, a lawyer representing the family of former Seoul Mayor Jeong Cheol-seung, be deleted.

The Civil Settlement Division 51 of the Seoul Central District Court recently ordered the deletion of one of three posts by Attorney Jung, and rejected the request for deletion and prohibition of posting for the rest.

Previously, the victim's side of the former Mayor Park sexual assault case posted on SNS one after another that Lawyer Jung had no evidence of sexual harassment and that the allegation that his appeal for personnel was ignored is also different from the truth. I have applied for an injunction with the court to stop posting posts that mention sexual violence.

It is difficult for the court to recover the social evaluation and awareness of the victim, which can be degraded by the corresponding post for one post, and it is difficult to recover the social evaluation and perception that such posting is for the public interest or that can be taken as a lawyer representing the bereaved family of the deceased in related administrative litigation. It is difficult to see that it is a legitimate act, and some reasons for the decision to cite were explained.

However, for the rest of the article, the request for deletion was not accepted, saying that it did not contain information that could identify the victim and that it was only a list of investigations conducted by the police and the National Human Rights Commission of Korea.

Attorney Kim Jae-ryun, the victim's representative, said, "I pay tribute to the court's wise decision."
