970,000 doses of Pfizer and Moderna's COVID-19 vaccines secured through vaccine cooperation with Romania departed for Korea on the 7th (local time).



The Korean Embassy in Romania announced that a transport plane carrying 526,500 doses of Pfizer vaccine and 450,000 doses of Moderna vaccine departed from Romania through Incheon International Airport that night.



The Pfizer vaccine is the second shipment of the 1,053,000 doses the Korean government has decided to purchase from Romania, and the first shipment was brought into Korea on the 3rd.



Moderna vaccine is the amount that the Korean government secured through mutual donation of vaccines and medical devices with Romania.



When the transport plane arrives at Incheon International Airport around 3 pm on the 8th (Korean time), the introduction of the 1.53 million doses that the Korean government secured through vaccine cooperation with Romania will be completed.
