The Office of Education has launched an investigation after allegations of sexual harassment and harassment of teachers and volunteers by the head of an alternative school in Gyeonggi-do were raised.

The victims allege that the principal, who is also a Catholic priest, molested him, such as touching his butt or forcibly hugging him, and made inappropriate remarks, such as calling late at night and saying, "Would you like to sleep with me?"

The Office of Education, which has been investigating since last May, is said to be conducting an in-depth investigation by catching suspicious circumstances related to additional damage to students as well as faculty.

The education office first notified the Catholic Foundation to remove the principal, and the foundation accepted this and dismissed the principal at the end of last month.

The principal, who is being accused of sexual harassment, said that the allegations raised by SBS reporters were not true and that he was waiting for the results of the investigation by the education office.
