A 40-year-old man accused of killing his wife with a long sword while arguing with his wife in a divorce case has been arrested by the police.
Judge Kim Sang-gyu of the Seoul Southern District Court issued a warrant today (the 5th), saying, "There is a risk of destroying evidence and fleeing" after interrogating the suspect before arrest (examination of warrant) for Mr. .
Jang is accused of stabbing his wife to death in a villa in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul around 2 pm on the 3rd.
At the time of the incident, it is known that Jang, who had been separated since last May while filing for divorce, had an argument when his wife stopped by the house to pick up her belongings and killed her with the sword she was keeping.
After the crime, Jang himself reported to the police.
